2. Description of the service

The service provides a free access point to the Peppol network — it enables sending and receiving electronic invoices in the Peppol BIS 3.0 / UBL 2.1 standard in accordance with the European standard EN 16931.

The service is provided free of charge, with no subscription and no per-invoice fees.

3. Registration and verification (KYC)

Registration requires identity verification with a government electronic identity card — in Slovakia through NASES (Slovak eID), in the Czech Republic through eIdentita.cz (NIA). This verification ensures that the service is used only by properly identified legal and natural persons — businesses.

The user must provide true and up-to-date information. The operator reserves the right to refuse registration or to suspend an account if the verification conditions are not met.

4. Permitted use

The service may be used solely for:

  • sending and receiving electronic invoices and credit notes through the Peppol network,
  • managing your own business documents within the scope of ordinary business activity.

5. Prohibited use

The user must not:

  • send fraudulent, false or misleading invoices,
  • misuse the service for spam, phishing or other illegal activities,
  • impersonate another company or person,
  • attempt unauthorised access to other users' data,
  • use the "Let's Peppol" brand for commercial purposes without the consent of the operator and BARGE vzw.

A breach of these terms may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of the account without prior notice.

6. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is", without any warranty of availability, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. The operator makes reasonable efforts to keep the service running but is not liable for outages, data loss or damage arising in connection with the use of the service.

7. Personal data protection (GDPR)

The operator processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we collect:

  • Company identification data (Company ID (IČO), name, registered office) — from the KYC verification
  • First name and surname of the statutory representative — from the eID verification
  • E-mail address and login credentials
  • Content of sent and received invoices

Purpose of processing:

  • Providing the service (sending/receiving e-invoices)
  • Verifying the user's identity (KYC)
  • Compliance with legal obligations

Storage and hosting:

All data is stored on servers in the European Union. We do not collect data for marketing purposes, and we do not sell it or disclose it to third parties beyond what is necessary for the Peppol network to function.

User rights:

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified, erased, exported and to restrict its processing. Send your requests to info@it-dk.sk.

8. The Let's Peppol brand

"Let's Peppol" is a project managed by BARGE vzw. "Peppol" is a registered trademark of OpenPeppol AISBL. The Slovak and Czech portal operates on the basis of cooperation with BARGE vzw.

Using the name "Let's Peppol" for commercial purposes, in advertising or to designate another service is prohibited without the written consent of the operator and BARGE vzw.

9. Changes to the terms

The operator reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Registered users will be informed of changes by e-mail. By continuing to use the service after the terms have changed, you agree to the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent court in the Slovak Republic.
