Why Peppol?

Mandatory e-invoices are coming. Be ready.

From 1 January 2027, structured e-invoices are mandatory in Slovakia for domestic B2B transactions (Act No. 385/2025 Coll.). Peppol is a European standard — the invoice is delivered straight into the customer's system. No PDFs, no e-mails, no retyping errors.

Let's Peppol is a free way to get ready for it. No dependence on a commercial vendor, no annual fees, no surprises.

📋Peppol BIS 3.0 — the European standard for e-invoices
🔄UBL 2.1 / EN 16931 — structured data, not PDF
🇪🇺One network for the whole EU — Slovak company ↔ German customer
🏛️Mandatory B2B from 2027 (385/2025) — B2G too
⚡Automatic processing — no manual retyping

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Let's Peppol is run by the non-profit BARGE vzw. No subscription, no per-invoice fees. The service runs on grants (NLnet) and community donations.

Do I need an eID card?

Only when you first sign up — to verify your company. In Slovakia with the Slovak eID (NASES), in Czechia via eIdentita.cz. After that you sign in as usual, without a card reader.

What if I already use other invoicing software?

Let's Peppol is an access point to the Peppol network — it can work on its own or alongside your existing software. In Slovakia we work with Efakturia.sk.

Who owns my data?

You do. We don't collect, sell or share your business data. Everything is on EU servers and you can export or delete your data at any time.

When will the Slovak portal be available?

We are planning Q2–Q3 2026. Join the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as it launches.

Which languages will it be in?

We are preparing Slovak and Czech. The platform is currently available in English, Dutch, French and German.
